Our Goddess brings together two iconic female spiritual figures from East and West. One side is inspired by Guan Yin, the Boddha of Compassion, and the other by a classical Greek goddess. Though they come from different cultures, they share one body, inviting us to reflect on both our differences and our shared humanity.

There are twelve hands extending in every direction around the sculpture. Instead of traditional religious signs, these hands show familiar human gestures—gestures we all recognize, yet often interpret differently.
Take the open palm of the Guan Yin Buddha. Some people see a hand begging. Others see a hand giving. Both interpretations are true. Giving and receiving cannot exist without one another.
Another example is a pair of hands faces downward. Depending on your experience, the gesture may suggest blessing and protection—or authority and control. This polarization is inevitably co-exists in the human world.
Our Goddess is not about comparing religions or cultures. It is about the ways culture, history, and personal experience shape how we understand one another. The sculpture invites us to look beyond labels and recognize that while our beliefs may differ, our humanity is shared.
